Electrical Superintendent/ Assembly Manager
This technician will oversee all aspects of the Electrical installation, working with your team and the TBM Major Mechanical Assembly Manager to ensure the overlapping works are scheduled to produce the shortest possible assembly time, and make sure all the electrical works are done correctly to minimize electrical breakdowns causing TBM downtime. This technician also works with the TBM electricians ensuring simultaneous works are completed whenever possible. The electrical superintendent can also work with the certifying body to make sure the electrical systems are CSA (or local governing body) certified.
TBM Electrician
This technician works to complete all the required electrical installations. Making sure all cables are routed and connected correctly and can train your personnel in troubleshooting breakdowns to minimize down time caused by electrical breakdowns.
PLC Technician
This technician works to install all the communication system of the TBM. Making sure all systems of the machine are relaying the correct information back to the operators’ cabin and being recorded in the machine data logger. They will also work with the provider of your guidance system for system installation and set up to make sure the TBM and guidance systems are interfaced correctly.
